Travis Gene North, 63, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at St. Thomas Hospital- West in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born on April 28, 1961, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Jerry L. North and Jeannie Mae Riggs North. Mr. North was a retired employee of Colonial Rubber Works of Dyersburg, Tennessee, where he worked for forty-five years. He was a member of the Church of God. His favorite pastime was riding his four-wheeler exploring the Mississippi River Bottoms.The memories that he cherished the most were the times that he spent with his family making special memories.
Cremation services for Mr. North are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Jeannie Mae Riggs North of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Travis Lynn North (Danyel) of Sharon, Tennessee; two daughters, Crystal Wiseman (Eric) of Gleason, Tennessee April Brisentine of Dyer County, Tennessee; four sisters, Judy Robbins (Jeff) of Yorkville, Tennessee, Sheila Medlin (Randy) of Friendship, Tennessee, Teresa Paschal (Derek) of Newbern, Tennessee and Amanda Couch (Caleb) of Usaula, Alabama and eight grandchildren, Cameran Sutton, Casey Sutton, Conor Wiseman, Braxton Morgan, Brylee Morgan, Payton Brisentine, Kayden Brisentine and Easton Brisentine.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry L. North, his wife, Ruby Delois Patton and two brothers, Jerry Wayne North and Michael North.
